Welcome to Soil Village. By accessing our mountain camping retreat services, booking a stay, or utilizing our digital platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Service.
Booking Agreement & Check-in
All guests must present a valid Government-approved ID (Aadhaar Card, Passport, or Voter ID) at the time of check-in. The primary guest must be at least 18 years of age. Reservations are confirmed only upon receipt of the advance payment specified during the reservation flow.
Guest Conduct & Wilderness Respect
Soil Village is located in an eco-sensitive highland zone of Solang Valley. Guests are expected to maintain the peace and natural purity of the retreat. Littering, damaging flora/fauna, or using unauthorized loudspeakers/audio setups that disturb wildlife or other campers is strictly prohibited.
Liability Disclaimer
Outdoor adventure activities (trekking, river crossings, camping) carry inherent natural risks. Soil Village and its staff are committed to high safety standards; however, we are not liable for any personal injury, loss of property, or delay caused by natural disasters, roadblocks, landslides, or severe weather conditions.
2. Cancellation & Booking Policy
We understand that mountain expedition itineraries can change due to unexpected events. Our cancellation policies are designed to be fair to both our travelers and our camp maintenance schedules.

Weather & Road Closures
In the event of landslides, heavy snow blocks, or official administrative orders preventing access to Solang Valley, we will issue a credit voucher of equal value. This voucher can be redeemed for booking at any alternative date within 12 months, subject to tent availability.

Your privacy is of extreme importance to us. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, store, and utilize the details you provide during bookings.
Data Collection
We collect personal details such as your name, phone number, email address, travel dates, and payment history solely to confirm reservations, coordinate logistics, and keep you updated on safety alerts.
No Third-Party Sharing
Your contact details are never rented, shared, or sold to third-party marketing companies. All data resides securely in our system.
Cookies & Analytics
Our website uses basic functional cookies to remember booking form entries and analyze high-level traffic parameters to maintain site performance and visual speed.
4. Manali Government Tourism Compliance
Soil Village complies fully with the guidelines set by the Department of Tourism (Government of Himachal Pradesh) and the National Green Tribunal (NGT) to preserve the environment of Solang Valley.
Rohtang & Solang Valley Traffic Permits
As per local administration mandates, heavy tourist traffic towards Solang Valley and Rohtang Pass is strictly regulated. Guests traveling in private, non-Himachal Pradesh registered vehicles must secure valid local entry permits via the official government portal before driving up to high-altitude zones.
Department of Tourism Adventure Sport Compliances
Under the Himachal Pradesh Aero Sports Rules, all paragliding, river rafting, skiing, and trekking activities in Solang Valley must be conducted only under licensed instructors and registered travel agencies. Self-conducted adventure sports without local safety clearances are illegal and not permitted inside or around Soil Village properties.
State Environmental Rules (Polythene Banned)
In accordance with Himachal Pradesh State laws, the use of plastic bags and single-use plastic cups/plates is strictly banned. Littering or disposing of non-biodegradable waste in Solang's eco-sensitive meadows or rivers carries heavy government fines and immediate cancellation of retreat reservations.
